When Bill first greeted me this morning, he was happy, making jokes. I just stared at him. It was chemo day - he is NEVER like this on those days. This personality continued through most of the day until he began feeling sick from the infusions. Still, every once in awhile, he'd crack a funny. Interresting.
We have a new concern. I gave Bill's mom a pacemaker check on Tuesday and by Wednesday the clinic was calling to tell us that she needed her pacemaker battery changed - and soon! The battery shouldn't have changed this much in the 3-months since the last check. Tomorrow she is scheduled for a 2-D heart echo. Please pray for this, as she is not tolerant of doctors or tests of any kind. Her surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, September 6. By the way, Mom S. will be 98 on September 19 !!!!
