Both Jon and I went to church this morning and it was a great service, as always. I picked the kids up after my service and we went to KFC for lunch. When we got home there was no resting. We are leaving in the morning on a week's vacation to the Upper Peninsula. This will be our first long vacation since way before Bill passed away. Seven days, 6 nights.
We are able to go away because Rachel and Jane are house/dog/fish/garden sitting. Poor Memphis goes in to depression when we aren't around and we'd never put him in a kennel. I'm thankful that Rachel and Jane don't mind moving in for a week.
If I'm able, I'll blog from the north. Otherwise, I'll have to recap when we get home.
