Catching Up ... Last Thursday, June 23

Jon, Jessie, Rachel and I left on Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. for Marion, Indiana, and Jacob's ordination in to the Wesleyan Church. On the way down, we stopped at the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing.

It is a nice, small zoo and doable for Jessie. Sort of.
There were times she freaked out, but we just got her away from the situation.

This is the closest I've ever been to an eagle, and I didn't even use the zoom on my camera. The lion had quite a bit to say while we were there.

After the zoo we continued to Marion and checked in to our hotel.

For dinner we met Jacob, Hannah, and his parents at a Japanese buffet.

Back to the hotel to rest.
