Today we went to Grandma's house to work. Jess ran in the door and yelled, "Momma!" (her word for Grandma), and ran to her bedroom. It broke my heart when she looked in her room and saw the empty hospital bed. She turned to me and said, "Momma back!" Today she finally realized that Momma was not coming back. We both sat in the office and cried for quite some time. Jessie loved her Momma, that's for sure. (This picture was taken in 2007. It is my favorite of Jess and Mom.)
