Today was our Second Annual (although we missed last year) Applesauce Day. Chris, Rox, Jon and I worked for 2 1/2 hours and turned 3 bushels of Macintosh and Yellow Delicious apples into yummy applesauce. Working together takes the "sting" out of the work and gives us an opportunity to visit and catch up with one another.Jess was very good occupying herself with her iPad, beads and Apples 2 Apples cards. However, she did manage to drive me nuts:
Jess (at breakfast table): Mom!
Me: Yes?Jess: Lunch?
Me: Let's eat breakfast first.
Jess: OK
Jess: Mom?
Me: Yes, Jessie?
Jess: Dinner?
This conversation continued the entire day. Please don't laugh.
