I finished packing and Jess and I left at 11:30 and we went and picked up Chris. She went along with me to help with Jess in case Jess couldn't handle the wedding or dinner. I so appreciate her willingness to do this for me.
We arrived in Grand Haven about 4:00 p.m. and I had an hour or so before I prepared to meet the wedding party and other guests at the Rehearsal Dinner. (Chris watched Jess for me at the hotel and they had pizza and salad delivered to the room.) It was such an honor for me to be invited. When we got back we visited for a bit - we had adjoining rooms and Jon told me what he had done that day. He drove up to Muskegon and toured a WWII ship, a submarine and a museum. He had a very nice day.
